Igor Gusev disrupts his classical portraiture and landscapes with annoying digital glitches of the modern world. While his subjects are trapped in scenes of a past era involving horse carriages and castles, he adds familiar trails of colour that make it look as if a computer has frozen, cleverly bridging the gap between one reality to another.
