Manshen Lo is a visual artist and animator based in London. Her artistic style has its roots in East Asia, and she cites sequential art, cinematography, and the ligne claire style as influences. Using appeasing colour palettes and a minimalist aesthetic, Lo illustrates ordinary scenes of life, but beneath the calm exteriors of her subjects we sense tension bubbling beneath the surface, which makes her series very compelling.
