The artistic duo Bigert & Bergström presents the Solar Egg. Both artistic installation and public sauna, the Solar Egg is located in Kiruna, a city in the Swedish Far-North. This project is part of a major urban transformation plan which involves the relocation of entire districts due to the ground subsidence after decades of irion ore mining. The shell is made from gold-plated stainless steel that reflects the city while the egg shape symbolises the rebirth of the town. At the end of the year,
