DUC C. NGUYÊN: #ArchMTL #StudioCormier Cormier's studio built by architect Ernest Cormier in 1921 to house its architecture workshop. Stilted in 1928, the building is one of the first witnesses of modernity in Quebec. The volume of this red brick building, which evokes a cube, is stripped of ornamentation applied and reflects the internal organization of the parts. The advantage of this studio is located in the expressiveness of volumes as well as the harmonious composition of architectural elements and openings, the glass roof of the main facade.
